Kettlebell Class Information

Ladies – Do you want Flat Toned Abs?  Jiggle-Free Arms?  A High, Tight Tush?

Guys – How would you like to Get Jacked?  Have More Upper Body Power?  Have Ripped Ab’s?

Kettlebell Training is an instruction and practice. You will not be throwing around weights for the purpose of sweating and burning calories, however I can assure you that you will get the best and most unique workout you have ever experienced. In a kettlebell class you will get very detailed and thorough instruction on how to practice the movements safely and effectively and from that it will be the best fitness class of your life!

Kettlebell Classes are offered for everyone from beginner who has never used a kettlebell before to those seeking to get your kettlebell instructor certification. The goal of proper kettlebell instruction is learning “MOVEMENT” first and then adding the kettlebell as the tool to help you move better, become stronger, lose body fat, and reach your fitness goals.

Classes are run very much like a martial art class (learning and practicing the skills and then how to apply them). Kettlebell Training can change your life, mind, and body.  The training can help you lose fat, build muscle, increase power, and mobility.

Why is Russian Kettlebell Training different?

As the demand for kettlebells and kettlebell training grows, many unqualified trainers have begun to advertise their services as kettlebell instructors.

But beware, kettlebell instruction requires an extensive background and training to be truly safe and effective. Don’t risk injury or waste time with subpar instruction when you can take advantage of Pavel and Dragon Door’s growing, worldwide network of highly qualified RKC certified kettlebell instructors.

RKC kettlebell instructors have undergone the world’s most rigorous of kettlebell instructor certification courses and are fully qualified to help you meet and surpass your goals, be they fat loss, strength and power development or athletic success.

The RKC Instructor has demonstrated a high proficiency in the most essential kettlebell drills and shown an ability to effectively teach kettlebell use to others.

Kettlebell Class Times and Rates

Mon, Wed, and Fri – 6:00-6:45am, 10:00-10:45am, 6:00-6:45pm

The end of each class will have an optional 15 minutes of T’ai Chi Chih for Active Recovery

Getting Started!

A mandatory prerequisite for attending the weekly classes is the Kettlebell Clinic held one Saturday a month from 10am-1pm. Here you will learn 4 basic kettlebell exercises: Swing, Turkish Get Up, Squat, Military Press.  In addition you will get a chance to learn my teaching style as I observe your skills.

Even if you have used or been working with kettlebells , you MUST take this clinic for admittance into the on-going weekly classes. If for some reason you cannot attend the clinic you can take two 50 minute private lessons at the rate of $100/session and these fees are not applied to your membership rates.   Many students attend the workshop every month. You can always learn something new.
