Kettlebell Instruction
Kettlebell instruction is offered for everyone from beginner who has never used a kettlebell before to those seeking to get your kettlebell instructor certification. The goal of proper kettlebell instruction is learning “MOVEMENT” first and then adding the kettlebell as the tool to help you move better, become stronger, lose body fat, and reach your fitness goals.
The best place to begin is our Kettlebell Basics Workshop held one Saturday a month from 9am-1pm. Here you will learn the 6 basic kettlebell exercises: Swing, Turkish Get Up, Squat, Clean, Press, and the Snatch. The next Kettlebell Basics Workshop is May 8. More details are on our Meetup page here.
I also offer the following for 1 on 1 kettlebell instruction:
- Monthly memberships of 1, 2, or 3 times/wk of 30 or 50 minute lessons
- Sessions packages of 1, 4, and 8 for 30 or 50 minutes.
I find that 1 on 1 instruction works far better than group classes and results can be obtained faster. The detail of 1-1 instruction is so great that it would take approximately 4-6 group classes to equal 1 private session.

T’ai Chi Chih

T’ai Chi Chih (“Knowledge of the Supreme Ultimate”) is a system of 19 flowing movements and one pose based on over 3000 years of principles and philosophies of the Yin-Yang. The purpose is to circulate and balance the Chi, or Intrinsic Energy, in our bodies…this is one of the great secrets of life! Unlike other T’ai Chi forms that take many years to master, T’ai Chi Chih can produce benefits within the first few lessons. Kettlebell Basics Workshop
This is your chance to learn from Dale Buchanan, RKC Certified Kettlebell Trainer and owner of Supreme Ultimate Fitness.
This Workshop will cover
- Basic principles and safety of kettlebell lifting
- Demonstration, basic instruction, and practice of the basic movements
- Basic movements taught are: swing (and variations), Goblet Squat, clean and press, snatch, and the Turkish Get Up
- How to fit kettlebell training into your fitness program in just 20 min 3x/wk

Level 2 Kettlebell workshop
This workshop is for those who have taken Dales Kettlebell Basics Workshop at least 2 times, and/or training with Dale for private lessons, and have a firm understanding of the 6 basic movements. Each student MUST know how to do the swing, snatch, clean and press, Get Up, and squat.
In this workshop you will learn:
- Double Kettlebell Exercises – dead lifts, swings, clean, press, snatch, and squat
- Windmill, bottoms up press, renegade row, and pistol
- Thorough review of 6 basic exercises
